Edit: it would seem that Equalizer APO itself is the thing thatâs causing the problem. I have no idea how or why. When I have it installed, enabling audio enhancements drastically changes the sound, even when I have APO switched to âoffâ and all of the bands are flat.
Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select âSounds.â. 2. Choose your audio device in the âPlaybackâ tab. 3. Right-click your audio device and select âProperties.â. 4. In the Properties window, click on the âEnhancementsâ tab. From there, you may see some EQ-related settings that you can adjust.
If you donât then you need to follow these steps: Run the Peace installer again. Select the âGet help and Trouble shootâ tab. Click the configurator button (This opens up the Equalizer APO configurator) Click your headphones. Check the troubleshoot options checkbox on the bottom.
It's not like improper eq is going to blow up your cans, at worst you'll get distortion. Hit the eq, A/B test it, and see if you like the results. Great thing about EQ is that you can experiment to find out what you like. You have a file and you can test against that setup vs no EQ.
Install by running downloaded PeaceSetup.exe. Equalizer APO has to be installed first. After a Windows update a re-install of Equalizer APO might be needed. YouTubers: Please mention Peace Equalizer in your video description. Many thanks to my reviewers and supporters.
The same (Equalizer APO not working) occured when Windows 10 was in development. Back then Microsoft was tinkering a lot with the audio system. And it became a waiting game until Windows 10 was stable and Equalizer APO could work. I guess, for Windows 11 it's the same. In other words, the developer of Equalizer APO can't do anything about it
I think it might be an issue with windows itself. Other programs like discord will have settings to play out of a specific device but just plays out of the default device. Except Voicemeeter, which seems to be the only exception. I did try to use EQ APO though Voicemeeter but no difference. woofaki ⢠2 yr. ago.
Dec 6, 2020. #6. It can take a while for your ears to adjust to the EQ and you may well be missing certain aspects of the DT-880's frequency response to which you have become accoustomed. Once you have the settings in PEACE, you can vary the amount of EQ applied using the sliders.
